Self-guided tours in Toronto, Ontario
Toronto rewards people who know which four blocks to walk. Your Touring picks stops around wherever you actually are — Union Station, a King West hotel, a condo near the Distillery — and orders them so you're not crossing downtown twice. Pick a time budget and we cut the list to fit it.
Sample stops in Toronto
A slice of the library. Each stop has photos, a short history and what to actually look at when you get there.

A market on this corner since 1803; the south building is the food one.

Low-rise, loud and mural-covered; car-free on Pedestrian Sundays.

Walking, scooter or driving?
Walking
The downtown core from Union to the Distillery to St. Lawrence is flat and fully walkable — about two hours with stops. PATH tunnels help in bad weather.
Bike, e-bike or e-scooter
The Martin Goodman Trail along the waterfront and the Bloor and Richmond–Adelaide bike lanes make the longer hops fast. Good for linking downtown with High Park or the west end.
Driving
Only worth it for spread-out stops — Casa Loma, the Aga Khan Museum, the Zoo, High Park. Downtown driving costs more time than it saves; we route you to park once and walk a cluster.
When to go
Summer (Jun–Sep)
Festival season and island ferries running full schedule. Humidity is real — we spread waterfront and shaded stops through the route.
Fall (Oct–Nov)
The best walking weather of the year. High Park colour peaks late October.
Winter (Dec–Mar)
Cold with lake wind. Lean on indoor stops — ROM, AGO, Hockey Hall of Fame, Union Station and the PATH.
Spring (Apr–May)
Unpredictable but quiet. Patios and ferry schedules ramp up through May.
